J. Geils to perform benefit for Worcester Firefighters

We will be performing a special benefit concert for the famillies of the six firefighters who lost their lives in the Worcester fire.

December 29, 1999 at the Orpheum Theatre in Boston at 7:30 PM.

Before launching the reunion tour, the mayor of Boston declared a J. Geils Day throughout the City Of Boston.

On this day the band received a special star on the Walk Of Fame in front of Tower Records.

Today Show - Secret Service Gig

The J. Geils Band had a very successful appearance on the Today Show last Friday morning.

The band followed the Today Show with a secret service gig at the Paradise Theater in Boston last Saturday night. The show was madly sold out and the band put on a great show. The crowd refused to leave after 2 encores each consisting of several songs, and the band rewarded the faithful with a 3rd encore to cap off one hell of a night !
